The AI is called Genie3
as someone who wants to be an artist/writer after school it’s literally so hard to explain to ppl why generative AI makes me nervous 😂

Your profile picture is AI, though.
DALL E sucks.
I wanted it to generate a pixel art plane with a view from the top. The pixels were more circles than squares and after many attempts I couldn't get a top view.

Seems more like a simulator than an actual game

Yeah, pretty sure that’s a problem with all AIs in general.
But that's the point. We had the same with printing presses:It used to be manual work part which was respected, now the outcome is, and that is not necessarily bad.
The difference lies in change in effort.
To write, you had to handwrite a 1000 words. To print, now you still have to type a 1000 words. Best case scenario, half the time was saved.
But now hours of work can be replaced by a simple prompt and 5 mins.
Typing is WAY faster than writing in any case
But did writers complain about it? No, because they could just become typers!
But why do artists complain? Because they can't become insta image generating bots!
i don't really have an opinion on ai, but i feel like the more that people hate ai, the less it's gonna be used by people since people will support it less and stop using it.
Refusing to use one of the most advanced technologies the world currently has to offer (which is going to improve) seems like a poor choice.
Maybe, but the use of generative AI is a bit ethically questionable, in part because of how it’s used and because of how the models were trained in the first place.
How so?
