Statistics and patterns are not a justification for judging individuals. Sexism is equally vulnerable to statistical arguments but is just as flawed as racism.
Everyone is probably a little racist. There is a difference between using your biases to protect yourself and exercise caution, versus allowing your biases to cause you to hate and assume answers and individuals without knowing them. Part of it is ego. Knowing exactly the limits of your own information

When a dude protects a woman because the threat is too big for her, is that sexist? What about holding the door open to honor women, is that sexist? Is sexism saying women are inherently worse than men, or that they are different, and should be treated respectfully, yet are not worse than men, becuase most people think it is both.
