A) his chatter is silly and repetitive. Don't you get tired of Bobby fischer thread? who's done More recently to burn us out on the same old stuff than this guy. and while repetitive topics is totally the scurge of the internet; cause he is going by its persona its ALWAYS the same thing.
B) the HOMOSEXUALITY. look I could care less. I don't have an issues with what people find attractive. but this troll brings it up again and again. he MAKES his threads go there. it allows him to egg us all; cause then someone goes homophobic- and suddenly the thread is derailed. a piggy troll is gorging himself.
C) anything is excess is a burden on the system; boring to see, not interesting to engage in.
how many regulars have the conversation "was fischer or Karpov the reason they never played the WCC". NO. we'd certainly NOT get involved on that. we're burnt on it. and even colorful "help me improve threads" threads only get a little replies unless someone is buthurt.
D) and lastly.
I want you all to know I No longer believe him. what person DOES this? I gave him the benefit of a doubt for a long, long time. its an act. its a huge drain this wanton attention seeking. I resisted the call to do this last time when Ronald made nearly the same thread. it is time to make good on the only real threat we have against him.
he is only gotten much more obnoxious and worse since that thread warned him that we were losing patience.

I agree. I inadvertently let him get under my skin last month. I'll make a HERKULEAN effort to not comment in his 130+ threads.

That's true Bonsai, but the more we go after him, the more Chess.com will say that WE are the bully. I think he's got a bad case of Attention Deficit Disorder but that's just my opinion.

I hate to give you more work Patzer, but you have a gold account. You could start that music group we were talking about earlier, you know, the group from the U.K.
I tend to call out this troll on vs a lot, simply by refuting his own words with facts, or by pointing out his excessive habit of posting others work as his own. This has earned me a warning from a new mod for my troubles. This leads me to believe chess.com values quantity (No matter how truthful) over quality of posts.

I'm just baffled at how and why staff has allowed it to get to 130+ threads. Weather its intentional or behavioural, lets try Patzer's approach of no food for a week. If that doesn't work, we've got the group as an option, and we can approach Staff again. I'm betting staff is split on this one. Half of them are saying, "he's breaking no rules", and the other half is saying, "he's a pain in the butt".
I want to make a vow or a pledge. While I will refrain from naming a name- let me say that undoubtably many of you will know who I am speaking of; and that your guess is of course right.
If the food of a troll is an attention; this user has an appetite that is disgustingly insatiable. No amount of attention is enough; and sleep takes Too much time away from his pathological needs; so I'm convinced he doesn't.
This particularly user has earned one of the biggest reaction in all of chess history; and as a fan of crazy personalities and ridiculous and colorful back stories I was at least initially intrigued. no doubt that was the beginning for many of us of our relationship.
as we appreciated his energy, we egged him on. Well I egged him on. I will make this personal; for this is a personal protest. a Breaking up speech. and I am hoping a call out to other people to say similar things.... but I take a small (tiny) amount of responseability in the matter; I'm a sucker for a colorful story and for a while he was a colorful story and didn't seem to stale.
No more! my vow is that I will block him for One week. I will not write on any of his forum threads. I will not answer direct questions. (he often ignored me anyways). and I will not give direct questions or answers,
I call on a healthy amount of the skeptical regular forum posters to do the same. Let his posts dwindle. I plead with you guys actually. it is the ONLY thing that will break him. he has an appetite for attention greater than anyone else in all of chess.com history; but he is careful!
consider a protege BP. that guy had a moment of defiant mod bashing. the mods took his defiance as a strict offense against the site. now he lingers in the chess.com community; perhaps spoken up for-- but feeding attention No more.
given this specific troll; I think a 2 week mute would be his bursting point. perhaps in a resurrection he would not be caught.
but at least it would alter his game, burn a new email ; and force a paid contributor to abandon a momentary investment. this is assuming that he has a premium account which for the sake of maintaining anonymity you cannot do.

but I regret some of sentiments with this specific guy; and my tolerance is at an end. Moreover I have been insulted by him.
the insult was subtle but it is there. he has been insulted me for some time. I don't think a Moderator would understand and it is subtle enough for him to get away with.
