(Tuna #1546) The other believes there there is no God, unless given supporting evidence by those that do believe.
And it gets better than that Tuna. The atheist has zero supporting evidence as to where matter and energy even came from or that time didn't have a starting point. They can't even begin to comprehend it ! And I happen to find that totally comical !
And it's a beautiful thing....to watch them scratch their heads from all this mystery. All they can do is shrug and say "Duh....I dunno !". All of the atheist-scientists are caught in this existential trap....and they have been for 5000 years. Do you ever wonder who's behind it all ?....I luv it !
Actually, those in the field do have a pretty good idea as to the origin of energy and, then, matter. I think what you mean is "where does the universe come from?" Most atheists are not cosmologists or theoretical physicists, so they can hardly be expected to have an answer to this question, but those who are, and work in the right field, can offer a number of hypotheses for the origin of the universe. Further evidence may surface to determine which hypothesis is right, but we may have to wait a while! The "God Hypothesis" is one such hypothesis but, to most in the field, seems among the least promising. You, of course, know better and can categorically state that God is the answer. If you're right then plaudits and a Nobel prize awaits! However, just saying it repeatedly isn't very helpful, doesn't prove anything, and makes you sound very silly indeed! But you're not silly, of course, so you must have some amazing evidence that has escaped all those scientists who have spent their careers working on the problem. Do 'em a favour and reveal your evidence, which I'm sure you have and i'm equally sure is conclusive, and we'll all be very grateful and start looking at other problems that haven't been solved yet!
What do you think, drpsholder ? does a God exist ? trying to be kinda adult here :)
Tuna asked you a question Doctor....and we want you down on record.
