is blocking prevalent ?
It's true, I've blocked players I don't wish to compete with again. This was mainly due to what's considered poor sportsmanship in my court. I say most of them were not cheaters, nor did they spam the chats or the draw button in any particular way, they simply annoyed me in their play, and it makes perfect sense for me to have blocked them. Thank you
.com for this handy feature.
I must a make point for those of you who are not discerning enough to know it; I am not an obnoxious man. I can tolerate a vast array of things from my opponent. But when an opponent has nothing but a king on the board, and foolishly attempts to earn a draw by stalemate, then not only have they disrespected me as a player, but they have cast boredom upon my game-time, effectively defeating the purpose of gaming to begin with -- they have disrespected chess.
Now, I completely understand that we are not all yet learned in the subject of mutual respect. Believe it or not, it takes time to learn respect beyond what you are told, and therefore it takes time to appreciate it. So I don't make a noise about it; no contestant has been insulted by me behind this end of the line.
