It depends on what genre imo. Rap was better ten years ago. But I think some genres are better now.

I feel like we’re kinda in this recession of good music. I mean there’s still some good stuff out there but it doesn’t hit the same as the pre 2019 era.
2000-2015 was the peak of music.

50s is alright
60s is the first decade I would say it really started taking off tho
50s has too much jazz and stuff like that (nothing wrong with that, I just don’t really like jazz)
