yea, that article how you started the thread out.  It's not surprising in a way that man will leave verses out to gain glory for themselves.    Or maybe this guy didn't study or search as much as he should have.  Ghostliner, I honestly do not believe the bible has any contradictions throughout.  This is one of the reasons my faith has increased.  I was shocked to see verses in Isaiah matched up to verses in the New Testament and so on.  It's all there, perfectly written for us.   It is definitely a book that needs to be studied not just read through.    I believe that is what God intended, for us to "study"...search the scriptures.

When I read this, it tells me what a christian is...a follower of Christ.  If I follow Christ and His teachings, promises, with faith, every-thing will be o.k. and when I say o.k., I mean  God is in control of all things.  That's what I believe man.   The bible says God rested on the seventh day.   double time,...kaynight.  that's fresh man..real fresh.  haha

No man.  not from the south.  Not on the bible belt.   It's a shame how labeled the "christian" is.  So many people who claim to be "christians" do it their way...this isn't burger king, "have it your way".  Christians should not be filled with hate, running around with poster boards, posters on sticks chanting this and chanting that.   IT IS COMPLETELY WRONG.

i'm far from confusion sir night.  Although I have been yes.  mind was clouded with confusion, upside down.  Want to know how I felt?  not depressed.  Not lost.  I felt invincible.  I could do anything.  Until my world got crushed.  All my doings came up and destroyed me.   The bible talks about God "correcting His children"...yea, God showed me my faults to the extreme.  I was at a cross-road..get right or live a terrible, angry, stiffnecked life.  All that leads to is destruction.  Exactly where I was going..like the Bible says.  The truths are what brought me out.
