Correct me if I’m mistaken but I feel as though we may celebrate more than other countries for freedom because mainly we fought for it. I understand India but most European countries were diplomatic divergence from there parent country. Again correct me if I’m wrong
#202 no, I think you are wrong. I don't know every European country's history, but in Italy, we had to go through ~20 years of independence wars, a fascist regime, and a civil war for 2 years

Thank you for the context. From what I’ve studied countries like Germany, and South Korea they were the result of two separate party’s conflict and their freedom came from their ‘parent county’ or guardians win.
