HEAVY WIP RAAAAH
~ Karokano: A WIP Conlang ~ (ABANDONED)

By doing it, shockingly.
Just kidding! What part are you interested in knowing the process of?

Update: Karokano is f@#&*%@ dead smh
It was a bit too ambitious for my first Conlang, so I’m on another project for now called “Proto-Vlori”, which is actually tied to another bigger worldbuilding project so it’s less likely I abandon this one.

AAHH another reminder for me to continue Kamesotonishira
If you don’t continue Kamesotonishira I will break all of your ~200 bones with the force and radiance of a million stars /friendly

How are both projects going so far?

question: languages like Japanese and this may cause word-overflowing(or whatever it calls) problem. This is kinda (C)V, and given sounds are heavily too less. there are only 24 available syllables, and you give a sybmol(eg. あ cause I cannot type characters from your language lol) to it,just imagine a sentence: "A quick fox jumps over the lazy dog".

This site might come in handy.
Karokano’s repertoire of sounds is, relative to other languages, rather small. It consists of the following:
Consonants Bilabial Alveolar Palatal Velar Nasal m n Plosive p k Approximant j Flap ɾ¹- Represented by the grapheme “r” in romanization

Tbh the sound inventory is kinda small, but this is only the protolanguage (i assume), so there’s still plenty of space to add more
