Backstory: An assassin sent to kill the Queen. They disguised themselves as a Servant, but they hesitate to do the job, seeing how the Queen runs the kingdom, and now questions the people they work for.

The (idk what they’re called, closest assistant to the throne) has called each servant into a room one by one, and Ren has just been called up. Despite their extensive training in this field, a bead of sweat runs down the back of their neck. They’re then brought into a room, and the queen stands at the other end, guards flanking each side of her.

*the queen nods, in response to his bow, but keeps her stone cold expression. She gestures to a chair.* “sit.”
*She clears her throat, and sets her gaze upon Ren.* “as I’m sure you know, I’m questioning every servant in the castle. Ren, you’ve been faithful. A truly good servant. But what I’ve been wondering is, are you hiding behind a mask? You servants do mutter and gossip quite a bit. I heard something of a…dagger.”
