There are two new mechanics in this murder mystery:

Skills: Skills are similar to tricks, but they affect general play for the user. “Skill boxes” will appear in shops and other places and skills can affect how fast you are, how strong you are, debuffs during conflict, etc.

And there is another way to die: if your life core is broken. You will be in houses as a spawn point, and it’s either when you die normally or if the core is broken that determines if you die, but the core is insanely durable, so good luck.

Map: Classic Sky Battlefield

There are 12 floating islands varying from height in the air to terrain and separate islands that hold a player's house, consisting of a defensive beacon, a bedroom for restoring energy, and the life core which carries the soul of the inhabitant, and if destroyed, so does the inhabitant. In the middle is the shop, holding the good ol’ shopkeeper, a woman from another world. All houses have bridges leading to this place. The islands are a jump away from each other, but again, they can be really high in the air and require different methods of transportation or really low and can be deadly if jumped on from above. Also, the moon can be reached, if you look hard enough.

Points:
A kill from a killer to a player normally is 10 points (kills are delayed by 5 turns and the victim is told via dm) (point gains are hidden and announced to the person who killed the victim) and a kill via DMS is 15 (hate to say it, but since it’s an mm LFA is enabled)
Innocent killing innocent results in a -10 point penalty (again, kill is delayed and point loss is hidden) and a -50 currency penalty

Special factors:

There is a day and night system based on real-time, fewer enemies spawn during the day (fantasy mobs) and more appear at night. After every 2 days, a random island (excluding shop and spawns) is destroyed, killing everything on it until 2 islands are left. If a week goes by without anything happening (or if the chat goes dead for a week) then everyone dies and a random role is decided the winner. If things get boring, I will spice things up.

Roles:
Innocent: your goal is to outlive the killer, or kill the killer (ironically). Good luck out there.
Detective: can scan a integrate a player once per 5 hours and see their last dm result (not action, also will be vague). Starts with a double cloak (trick descriptions are in the first post) and a revolver with 12 rounds (+6 rounds in the gun already).
Killer: kill everyone, no mercy. Starts with 1 skill, 1 trick, and a knife.
Roles will be decided with a name wheel.

Coins:
All mobs drop 30 coins, and the prices of items are decided if the price is fit based on 3 factors:
What item
Strength
rarity 
Like a gun is going to be around 1600 gold but a kunai is going to be 30 coins

And the golden rules: (that could save your life)
Make alliances with those that you trust
Anything is a weapon
DMs could turn the tides of the whole game
