Labor Day/MDA?

What do you do on Labor Day?   Here is what I usually do.  I normally watch the Labor  Day telethon.  I also make a donation.  When my children were younger I encouraged them to go door to door and collect any change our neighbors had and collect for MDA.   We would go as a family to the local location and instead of making a pledge, we would give the money collected and talk with the people at the collection center.  Well instead of challenging someone to chess today I am challenging all chess players on this website to either make a pledge or give some money.  I think that this would be cool.  Many organizations are known for helping and making a difference that will really help people.  Wouldn't it be great if after several years the Chess Community was known for something other than chess.  Also it would be positive public relations for chess.
