Well, Summer is almost here and I need to read some new books.
The last book I read, or the last book I finished?
I tried to read Ulysses again the other day, but gave up after page 40 or so.
Last book I finished was the count of monte cristo by Alexandre Dumas. Last book I've read and haven't finished is the King James Version of the Bible by various authors.
Last completed book was a collection of short stories by Kurt Vonnegut. I am now reading a collection by Solzhenitsyn.
With the arrival of the holidays and the Winter I tend to read more, and I
started thinking about the last book I finished reading. It was John Adams by David McCullough, the one the HBO miniseries is based on, and it was an
outstanding read. There were so many things I had never heard about in my life.
So what is the last book that isn't chess related you have read?
