The 'freedom of speech' paradigm, we're in.. allows me to put out this 'link' for consideration. Since 'troy's answer to approaching this metaphysical, 'meaning' subject - To my mind..{and more-than-a-few-others}, allows people, to virtually 'fill-in-their-own-blanks'.. in the course of having many-Many more questions, than answers!?
I don't doubt, that this 'link' {if perused, or read}, will strike 'troy' as heresy; But, for the others.. If, by 'clicking' the link, and what it contains.. 'speaks' to your heart - At least, it's gives one, another option; In trying to get your 'head around' this subject.. than just being exposed to 'troy's take.

After maybe 5-10 likes from different members, the whole text article would highlight to an different Color! So when we talk of life having inherent meaning, what sort of things are we talking about? I think there's a danger that this is like the emperor's new clothes. I think it's possible there is no meaning but we project meaning onto it. Anyway it's something worth considering.

Perhaps the absence of self doesn't have to mean the absence of meaning. There is no I to experience it but perhaps like truth the universe can know it exists.
It's interesting that the universe experiences itself in individual consciousnesses but then perhaps as its fragmented that's to be expected.
I'd like to consider if we could describe these objectively meaningful things as beautiful.

An example of a truth we are capturing is that the self is an imaginary concept. The reality is everything is interconnected.

Perhaps the point is it's false to claim meaning. Say I'm meaningful or my life is.
I am you and you are me and we are all together.
But as Troy says life has inherent meaning. Maybe. Worth exploring certainly.
For me anyway his position now isn't some obscure imagination but something that's perhaps possible and certainly can be talked and thought about.
