Life or Death Situation

I wonder if one of the 3 can stay with the injured one, maybe Ellie?.I hope anyone have a chess set on backpack… If Katchenjunga or another nearby, Jigou the great ape can always be called before to climb to give permission and blessings, also call Choronzon to good augur... Crowley was involved in some drama there too, but it is always possible to create a pseudo-tulpa as guide where sherpas stop . Ace Ventura knows that. K2 is hard. I suggest staying home playing chess.

The Avalanche: A Test of Will and Sacrifice
A small group of climbers embarks on an expedition to scale the treacherous peaks of the Himalayas. Among them are Ava, a skilled but cautious guide; Daniel, a young climber looking to prove himself; Liam, a father of two seeking one last thrill; and Ellie, a doctor who joined to challenge her limits.
The journey begins with excitement, but halfway through the climb, an unexpected storm rolls in. As they attempt to retreat to safety, a massive avalanche strikes, separating the group. Ava, Daniel, and Ellie are buried in snow but manage to dig themselves out. Liam, however, is pinned under a large rock, unable to move. His leg is shattered, and the group is miles from the nearest base camp with no signal for help.
Decision 1: Leave or Stay?
The group faces a critical decision:
Option A: They leave Liam behind, promising to send help once they reach the base camp, though they know it could take days.
Option B: They stay and try to move the rock or create shelter, risking their lives as the storm intensifies.
Ava argues for moving forward. "If we all die here, no one will get help," she says. Ellie counters, “He won’t survive that long alone. We can’t just abandon him.” Daniel, unsure of himself, looks to the others for guidance.
The group decides to split up. Ava and Daniel will head for the base camp, while Ellie stays behind with Liam, hoping her medical skills can keep him alive until help arrives.
The Treacherous Descent
As Ava and Daniel descend, the storm worsens. They encounter crevasses, falling debris, and their own exhaustion. Daniel slips and injures his arm, slowing their progress. Ava must now decide:
Push Daniel to continue, knowing he risks permanent injury.
Stop and tend to him, losing precious time to reach help.
Ava chooses to tend to him briefly, using her experience to stabilize his arm. They press on, but the delay costs them. By the time they reach the base camp, the storm has grounded rescue helicopters. They must wait until morning.
The Waiting Game
Back on the mountain, Ellie and Liam are fighting their own battle. Liam's condition deteriorates as hypothermia sets in. Ellie sacrifices her own jacket to keep him warm and rations the little food they have. During the long night, Liam confesses, "I climbed because I felt like I had nothing left. My wife left me; my kids barely speak to me."
Ellie, shivering but resolute, replies, “You’re still their father. If we make it out, you’ll have a chance to fix things. Hold on.”
The Rescue
The next morning, Ava and Daniel guide a rescue team back to the site. When they arrive, they find Ellie unconscious but alive, huddled next to Liam, who is barely breathing. The team works quickly to airlift everyone to safety.
The Aftermath
Liam survives but loses his leg. Touched by Ellie’s sacrifice, he reconnects with his family, slowly rebuilding his life. Ava and Daniel both recover and form a deep bond over their shared experience. Ellie, however, struggles with the trauma of the ordeal, questioning her decision to stay behind. She finds solace in Liam’s recovery, knowing her sacrifice wasn’t in vain.
Years later, the group reunites to honor their journey. The memory of that storm reminds them how fragile life is and how the choices we make define not just our survival, but who we are.
