Yes!! Clannad and Enya. Between the two, I have 7 CDs. I haven't listen to them, or her, in a while now. After we moved, I haven't sorted out my CDs properly or stereo system, so the only way I've been listening to music is on my iPod and while I have several Irish albums stored, I never thought to include them.
Love, Theme from Harry's Game. Enya's big hit, at least in North America, was Orinoco Flow. People familiar with Lord of the Rings may not have realized she did the Theme Song. As much as I like "Flow" I just love, May It Be. It always brings a tear to my eye. This is getting blurry now . . .

Yes, very nice. As it turns out the singers are from Canada! The Maritimes (East coast of Canada) have a rich Gaelic tradition with some many descendants of the Irish and Scottish. This song comes from an album released in 1998 by the Chieftains, "Fire in the Kitchen." It features several other Canadian Gaelic performers from the Maritimes.
Although originally part of the Montreal Irish community, I lived 9 years in Nova Scotia and 2 in Newfoundland. Fire in the Kitchen refers to our kitchen parties, most of the partying takes place in the kitchen, the playing of music, dancing, tall tales - grand ole craic!
Here's another cut from Fire in the Kitchen (Love this song by just about any body):

another celtic song , dont know where omnia are from but do like their stuff

Very celtic, then throw in a didgeridoo for good measure - unusual, but still very celtic.
From their website, they call their music "PAGANFOLK . . . OMNIA is not bound by any particular regional music genre or style." Also from their website, looks like they are mainly from Europe: Netherlands, Ireland, England. Not sure where they're based out of now. Cool sound, though . . .
Thanks for posting this. I have it saved for future "review".

i use them in match notes alot , esp the song morrighan
i like how there has been a resurgence in bands with celtic ideals , even if they reflect the celtic belief system which now gets called pagan ,
A very nice thread here ! I'm retired and I don't have Cable-TV so my radio is on here from about 8 AM in the morning until 12 Midnight ( part of the time on talk-stations and part of the time on music-stations ). Needless to say YouTube is also a wonderful area to explore, lots and lots of great music over there.

Thank you, guys. And thank you all contributors. Music has been, and continues to be, a very large part of my life.
November starts Friday and we're coming up to the 28th anniversary of the death of Freddie Mercury. (Can't believe it's 28 years!) The Show Must Go On, is literally his last farewell (from the album, Innuendo). By the time "Show" charted, Freddie had taken his final curtain call. The video is a compilation of clips from previous songs, as Freddie was too ill for any new video footage.
For all of us, the show must go on . . .
wayne shorter is pretty decent ,
