Lupin the Third has been popular with (middle-aged?) men over the past several decades, in Japan.
I am surprised that Monkey Punch is known in other countries.

Yeah rip monkey punch 1937-2019 i want to see the new movie so bad... but its not avalible in america.

Which character and season is your favorite?

My dad and older sister were weekly viewer of the 2nd season (Lupin’s jacket is red !).
But I’ve only watched some episodes.
I like Zenigata ( police inspector) because Zenigata and Lupin are rivals but good friends 😉

True. You definitely need to watch season 2. If lupin were to kill zenigata he would have no fun stealing.
