I tried having discussions with trolls.. they didn't use logic and they played on their own terms.. which were personal attacks and illogical fallacies and arguments. They won't play on my terms, which are the sides of logic and personal respect, and I won't use their terms.

From personal experience, pure logic won't defeat trolls. They'll just say "sure kid, but you still suck and your arguments are trash LOL".
The way to defeat the trolls is to not play their game, not go along with their scheme, to live your life and let them live theirs. 😃
