Just put down any answer and tell them that they can't say it's wrong, because it would hurt your feelings...

Bab3s

Ask them why they can't be bothered to use parentheses. I know that per "PEMDAS" multiplication comes before division so maybe under that logic "300/4x2/3" is an unambiguous question. However, no mathematician would write that quantity like that. They would make it super duper clear: something like (300/4)*(2/3) or 300/(4*2*3) depending on what they're asking. By the way, the former is equal to 50, and the latter is equal to 12.5

You're not stupid for not understanding the question; they're stupid for making the question pointlessly hard to understand

12.5 is the answer

Use python language

Is there any context with the question? I remember when I was learning fractions, they wanted us to simplify stuff like that, so (300/4) * (2/3) would be a reasonable assumption. 300/3 is 100 and 2/4 is 1/2, now 100/2 is 50 and you can experience this method of seeing the answer.

This is true, but (4*2*3) is not my understanding of the PEMDAS interpretation of uncertain expressions. My understanding is that multiplication and division are on the same ranking, in which case we do them left to right. I would do 300/4 and get 75, times 2 is 150, and divided by 3 is 50. @Fancy_world_funny, Python does this and gets 50.0

There is a third interpretation, and that is 300 / (4*2/3) and this is 112.5. This doesn't feel right though, so either put 50 or 12.5 or ask for clarification.
