When you are mindful?

This may be off-off topic, but I have the ability to lie down and not think of anything (a sort of meditation) for 1-2 hours. I can only do this once in a while. No thoughts go through my mind, but I am aware I am awake and alive. I did not practice this. It started happening within the last year.
I meditate on a regular basis (both guided meditation and unguided). I think this "special ability" I recently developed is probably providing some of the benefits, known to come from meditation, to me. I have been under a lot of stress lately, and these events started subsequently to the inducement of stress. I believe my body and mind are adapting in order to relieve stress, and that is why I have developed my "special powers." This never happened in my entire life.
I agree, (for once with Kayknight) but it would also be intersesting to know what kayknight does for a living, aside from posting 24/7 on chess forums?
In this forum I'm going to be bringing what I observe when I am mindful .
I thought that was what twitter was for.
This is really weird, I could have sworn I was here before, hearing the same exact thing, only it was called something else and the voice I kept hearing was repeating the same thing over and over again. Maybe I should talk to someone about this, because it just goes on and on in my head and I can't shut it off. I can't shut it off. I can't shut it off.
