Misinformation on Chess.com

I am going to say something that needs to be said in the off topic category of the forums. There has been a lot of scientific, religious, and sometimes political debate. As we all know, religious and political debate is not allowed. But I was recently looking at some flat earth forums and was shocked at what I saw. Now keep in mind that scientific debate/discussion is allowed, and I encourage a friendly discussion. But they were very heated debates, not in the good way at all. Insults were being thrown, and people would try to say “the bible is the only scientific book” or even throw around ableist slurs such as the r word. It’s not funny, just deeply hurtful. And before anybody says anything, I want the people of chess.com to know that I think you can have beliefs, about anything you want. That is fine. But the very second that those beliefs start negatively impacting other people they become not okay. And I mean this in any way.
I would also like to address the trolls on chess.com and people who are looking for a fight. If you come to chess.com not to play chess, but to stir up division between the people that do in these forums, you will most likely be reported. You have no place on chess.com. No person like this does.
