First, cows are cute animals and they provide us food. (Sorry Gau Mata :() Milk provides calcium and is good for you. Beef is also yummy (Again, sorry Gau Mata :() but provides good sources of protein.

Secondly, in Hindu and India, cows are considered holy. They are sacred symbols of life, motherhood, and selflessness, which can be great. Cows are associated with Mother Earth, representing wealth, strength, and abundance. Milk that they produced are used as purifications. Cows are also believed to absorb sins. They are thought to have hold divinity, associated with many deities, and are considered to be beloved by God. As for selflessness, they provide nourishment without expecting anything too much in return, which represents a mother giving resources to her child with unconditional love and selflessness. Also, in India, in many places, they restrict you from eating beef.

3rd, there’s a term we say, ‘Holy Cow’. Is that not enough proof that cows are holy? Ties in with what Hindus and Indians believe, so it’s perfect!
