My sister just dodged death (not literally)
I don't understand prioritising "freedom" over kids dying
That's the emotional argument everyone trots out. But the right to own a gun is guaranteed to Americans by the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution in the Bill of Rights. This will never be changed. This incident was not done by the owner of a legal firearm; it was done by a gang member. Gun owners that legally own their firearms are responsible people who believe in gun safety at all times. I know this because I own three of them. The only way they will ever leave my possession is if I decide to sell them.
Mossberg 500 pump shotgun , AR15, and Remington 700.
Don’t worry, they were just sacrifices to keep guns around in the US.
Is it just me or are you happy they died so that you can crack some lame joke? I will not get political, but it is impossible to get rid of all the guns and the people who need to not ahve guns will be the ones to keep them.
Nobody’s happy that they died. It’s just a joke that Americans can’t see the obvious correlation between their relaxed gun laws and shootings within our country and that so many people think that shootings are necessary to keep the second amendment in tact.
Thanks. Just to be technical, I also have a Red Ryder BB gun like the one Ralphie wanted in A Christmas Story. But I'm not sure if that counts. ![]()
America is bonkers. If I was president of America I'd make it illegal to own a gun and anyone who is seen with one gets life in prison.
No idea why someone hasn't thought of that already.
Many reasons
Theres a reason I want to move to Japan.
It has nothing to do with guns.
