It seems that chess.com doesn't accepted a free opinion. They remove a post, because I've annoyed me about this site. I told about lags, disconnection, freezing browsers and cheating problems. But I told also that I like this site. And I told about interresting alternative chess-sites like chess24 and chessbase. If this forum controlled and affected then it's a pathetic display of chess.com.

Yepp, so is it. Currently I compare the premium accounts between the different chess-sites. I'm not sure, but I think I'll decide me for a premium account for me and my son by chess24. It's pity, I like this site. But the interrupts and the erasue of posts get on my nervs.

If you read the rules, you'd see right away why your post was removed: No mentioning other chess websites that are competitors of chess.com. Sure, the rule is somewhat unusual at first, but hey, it's a privately owned company, so it's their right to enforce such a thing.

As for your main complaint of interupts, lag, disconnections, freezing browers: For the vast majority of us it seems the site is working perfectly fine. That leads me to think it is your internet connection, not chess.com. Or it is your computer (needs cleaned/tuned, or perhaps you are on a really old computer and just need to buy a new one). But bottom line, it's highly improbable that it is chess.com's fault for your experiences. That's on your end.

I understand the sense of this rules from the perspective of chess.com. It is one thing to cancel all negativ comments or comparisons with other sites. But it is quite another thing to convince the users (customers) with a good performance or a discussion about it. Only removing is pathetic. A good dealer or salesman will try to convince his customers to buy their products and he do it with arguments. He won't kick out his customers only because they criticize or compare the product.

And about the interupts and the other problems, I can say: I have used 3 different devices with my good internet connection, every other game works faultless as well as the other chess sites. I have also tried other computers at another place, the result is the same. My chess opponents have the same problems on this sites. It's not a secret. But it is always very easy to argue, the customers have bad devices or connections. Please don't misunderstand me, I like this site, but I only want finished my games which I started. Everything else is a waste of time. Chess.com sells a product and have to listen any problems and examined/improved then. Only removing is arrogant.

If the OP says, "no criticism allowed", and then does nothing but criticize, is that hijacking one's own thread?

mentioning of cheating will get your post/thread remove.
