The excess deaths statistics published by the CDC shows excess deaths in line with Covid deaths. There is a massive spike above baseline. People are dying faster, but because they are predominately the elderly and sick, I would expect future years to show a decline from average. None of what I am saying negates or detracts from the fact that millions of people have died prematurely from Covid.
Excess deaths are higher in some countries substantially to those recorded as COVID.

I have a hard time believing anything I hear from our own media. It’s good to get first hand information from multiple countries. Does the public in the UK / England trust their news media?

At the same time I don’t believe they would cripple the country and push up national debt to such levels without their being something to cause it.

Do you believe more people have died than has been reported? Do you believe less people have? Which years have they not reported it accurately?
They reckon over 50 million people will die this year? Can anyone check it?

I tend to believe the published figures, because there are millions of individual regions reporting the data. It’s the same reason our voting system requires each community to set their own voting standards. Sure, there can be a lot of bad actors, but they are washed out in the mix.
I believe Covid is a serious disease that has killed millions of people.
I believe vaccines work to prevent hospitalization and death.
I believe that masks work.
I believe that mask and vaccine mandates are government over reach.

I’d guess many countries vastly under report their Covid deaths for a plethora of reasons. China would top that list, followed by nearly every third world country that doesn’t have the resources and infrastructure.
Problem is governments can put out what they want and it’s down to each individual to sift through the data and try and work out what is real and what is made up. In countries like ours the government likes to know how many people there are. For taxes, for control, etc.
In some countries the governments don’t even have accurate birth or death records. And things are estimated.
And we all know if a government or organisation has an agenda they will manipulate figures, truth or whatever else for their own purposes.

I agree with you. Some countries under report all deaths to try and show strength. Same as they do with COVID deaths.
Now they are saying phase 3 trials for Pfizer vaccine had falsified data and an overall display of incompetence
