Picky People

I don't mind people being picky, I suppose, as long as it doesn't affect me. But what I can't stand is people who say "I don't like ____," yet they haven't tried "____."

Was eating out with a couple of people, one of them notoriously picky. She eats for lunch every day either plain nacho with cheese, cheese burger, or plain chicken. That's about it. No allergies. I ask her does she like turkey? "I don't like turkey," she says. "Every try it?" She says, "Nope."\

Double-you tee eff!

She also "doesn't like" beef, seafood, non-american cuisine, pasta...the list goes on and on.

Fine. You don't want to try things. But for the love of god, don't say you don't like it. That's a lie!

To each their own.

Sure. But I could go around saying I don't like Caviar. It'd be a lie. I don't think I wanna try it anyway. Though I suppose enough champagne will make anything taste good.
