For the first one you should look at how blacks queen is only protected by a pawn and that your knight is attacking that pawn so a tactic might be on

It's Rd8+ then if black takes then Nc6+ wins the queen

Ok there's a lot more on this type of tactic in the book but I think we should move onto rook pins because you missed this a few times in that game

Actually we'll do all types of pins, not just rook pins

This is probably the most common tactic you will see in a game except for forks so we'll spend some time on it

my hint is you need to look at your forcing moves. forcing moves are captures and checks

its a forcing move and then a pin
