Poor little Praying Mantis….😭

Went for a walk now and found this on the road. Some bike ran over? I don’t know. I took her in my hand and she held me like a baby 😭😭

It got its head cut off a bit

Gave her some water and she drank. Now sleeping

I pray she recovers 😭

I thought praying mantises don’t sleep

Yeah the neck is badly injured and yet she could drink some water, with that tiny little mouth… you will cry if you see 

so many things die in the forest

Why something like this happens it makes us sad

Luckily the body isn’t injured. Let me see

I mean in the picture it’s not there but the neck looks normal for what I know about praying mantises

The birds could’ve had a good meal 😋

jkjk I really do hope the praying mantis survives

Maybe fall damage, ( can insects take fall damage?)

Like that raccoon that fell out of a tree a couple weeks ago, that thing was hugging my little brothers jungle gym dome while getting eaten alive by flies 🤮

I don’t think it’s head is supposed to be purple
