A funny one for you:

-Abraham Lincoln

Always love Sir Francis Bacon

A classic one from a classic person:

"We shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender."

-Winston Churchill, We Shall Fight On The Beaches speech

I always loved listening to that speech,as it's great motivational speech to fight on even at the darkest hours of history

The fact that we had declared independence of a world power is amazing. However if we look at today's american society is proclaimed independent even in time were great struggle is taking place such as the U.S leaving the W.H.O due to independent thoughts that america could handle the situation.Look us now america!

It truly is. In case you cannot tell, I love Sun Tzu. His book was one of the best I've ever read.

Here are two that have guided me for years.

"If you've always done it that way, it's probably wrong." - Charles F. Kettering

"Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity." - Hanlon's Razor (origin disputed)
