A rat squeaks in the attic, in a really annoying and attention-grabbing way, multiple times.

"SsssssSqqqQQQQuUeeeEEEEeeeAAaaaaaAAkkkkKKK!" said the rat, calmly.

"That rat is really annoying."

[yeah, i'm offering one rn]

GOOOOOOO GO

*sees the baby*
since when was there a baby here?

*hears the rat*
I’ll go check on that, to make up for…
*signals to face*
…this lack of brains

*goes to see what the noise is*

As you get closer to the source of the noise, it becomes increasingly evident that the noise is coming from the attic. You can hear scampering and squeaks coming from above.

 *yells out “It’s in the attic, I’m looking now” and climbs up

The attic is dusty, untouched for a while. It's also filled with old boxes, [probably for Chip to fill in idk if this is as much as a sandbox as the original RF].

The source of the noise is immediately apparent. A large rat is scampering around, making noise. Something is off about this rat, though. The tail is skeletal, covered in blue growths. The head is in the process of dissolving to the bone, an empty bony eye visible, with the same blue biologic growths. As soon as it spots you, it freezes and stares right at you.

*yells up to you* "How's it look up there?
