Is it strange to be rated 1500 at puzzles but in the 600s at rapid which is what I play most often?

Puzzle rating is expected to be much higher than your versus ratings.
The reason is that the puzzle system serves more as a "point" system that is completely different than normal ratings (for example, you are guaranteed +5 points for a correct puzzle solution no matter the rating of the puzzle nor how much time you spend on it).
