Terrible how the Hip Hop Society are still Losing Great Inspired Artist. The Violence Needs to Stop. we are crushing ourselves by all means and instead of paying attention to how we're destroying our Future. The Question is What are we Solving by destroying our own Community? By Killing The Only Voice That Could help our Struggle to see that we need one another more than we need to be Harming one another. as a over all it seems Like the Hate we have in the Rap Community is what is being taught in our Cities Black Communities as a Justifiable act to be towards one another... Yo in case you aint heard, Kirshnik Khari Belll, professionally known as Takeoff, was murdered this morning in Houston, Texas. Kirshnik was a member of the hip hop trio Migos, along with his uncle Quavo, and his cousin Offset. Migos is the by far the greatest and most influential hip hop group of all time, and Takeoff was one of the most underrated rappers ever. I would sometimes hang out with Quavo and Takeoff at Atlanta Hawks games or other events in ATL. Kirshnik was a kind, amazing, and all-around dope homie. He had a smile that lit up the room and was incredibly intelligent, ambitious, and successful. His drive led him out of poverty to become one of the most influential, yet staggeringly underrated figures and hip hop and culture. He was a phenomenal businessman, a generous philanthropist who did much good in his short, short life, and an incredible rapper whose talent was unbelievable. He was, and is, a massive inspiration to everyone that knew or heard of him, including me. I was heartbroken to hear that he had been murdered. I wept when my contact woke me up and told me he had been murdered. His amazing and inspirational life was cruelly cut short at the age of 28. Prayers up to his family...may his soul rest in peace. We have lost a great man and a shining light to all who knew him. I love you Kirshnik. I love you brotha.
