You should quit school and apply for an engineering job. Tell us how it went afterwards.

Pineapple, school is something you don’t want to do. Think about life; there are necessary thing that you have to do, but you hate doing them. If you love school, you can apply for a good college and likely get accepted. That will leave you getting a higher pay simply because of the prestige and name. Nobody cares if you take the classes online because you don’t have the prestige of “Graduated from Harvard” on your résumé. School is NOT useless after 6th grade. There will always be faults in it because the government cannot produce a perfect school system.

That’s the dumbest thing I have ever heard.

Algebra, Calculus are absolutely necessary for life. In every aspect.

Although you might not need the theorems you learn in math, the thinking processes it develops is quite essential.

Not always- the Pythagorean theorem is necessary for any type of building, wether commercial or personal.

I used algebra today, twice. I used geometry almost everyday in my career. I use reading, grammar, and comprehension daily. I’m currently reading a book about a former presidential administration. Why? I learned how important history is and enjoy it now more than ever, even though some wish to erase and ignore its lessons. If you stop learning at sixth grade, you may end up working at a fast food joint a good portion of your adult life.
