I’m sure you’ve all heard of the Schrödinger’s Cat experiment. “The cat is both alive and dead”. It serves to explain that before a quantum system is observed, it’s in a superposition of states (meaning that it’s in many states at the same time until observed). “Alive and dead”.

Now, of course, this only applies to the subatomic. But many jokes can arise out of this, like the one above, and:

You can’t tell whether I’m gay or not until you observe me kissing someone I like. Schrödinger’s Gay Guy.

(Hey, I’m in a superposition of orientations! I’m gay, straight, both and none at the same time! Neat!)
