 This IS how the REAL music business works.                                                              

 Solid Gold was a popular weekly show counting down the top songs of that week. It ran from 1980 - 1988. Sort of like Soul Train and American Bandstand but different. Some of the singers/bands with a song on the current chart would appear on the show. Toeing The Line was a hit in 1980 when Solid Gold had just begun. The professional dancers in the video were regulars on the show, known as the Solid Gold Dancers.
