Everything has matter. All matter holds gravity. The bigger the object the more the gravity. If me and a pencil was placed in an open field of nothingness where everything floats. Would eventually the pencil gravitate towards me?

If I have metal box with a tube connected to it, and suck out all atoms and stuff in the box, and I make a perfect vacuum. Won’t everything try to fill in the space between things. So would the metal cube just collapse in on its self.
