Spectrum Book Take 2

Today, may 8th, a festival is held each year. A festival celebrating the defeat of a cult from a thousand years ago. Today was special, one of the only days that a unique spectacle would be happening. Someone had learned how to make Fulana give other colors, and tonight they would be setting off fireworks with such colors, for the first time in history.
"Now where was that shop?" someone asked the air, as he looked down the crowded street, strewn with small Limara strings crisscrossing between the buildings. "I could have sworn it was around here," he said as he squeezed through the crowd.
"Hey Indigo, wait up!" someone called out to him as they got lost in the sea of people. "Geez I know this is a big thing, but this seems like a lot of people," he said as the two moved out of the crowd and into an empty spot on the side of the cobblestone street. "Yea... this is a lot more people than I'm used to," Indigo responded, the sounds of wooden swords thumping together echoing in the distance.
"You know, I've never stayed up this late," the one person said, brushing some of his bright green hair out of their face. "Yeah, me neither. though I still stay up later than you normally," Indigo said with a sigh, still trying to find the shop he was looking for.
"Hey Indigo, I'm going to go watch the sword fights. I hear Gol is here to take on some of the strongest fighters in this village today!" the person with the green hair said, as he ran off. "Hey Grei, be carful!"
With that, the two parted ways. Grei had gone to watch the sword fight, Indigo still wandered looking for that one shop. While wandering the town, Indigo eventually finds the shop he's looking for. But suddenly, someone walks past, time seeming to be suspended, the world around them freezing as if the entire population of the village was made of stone.
Looking back at her, she seemed to be a normal girl with bright pink hair. The crowd also seemed to ignore her, as if she was invisible. Was she? Its not every day you see someone like that, and theres too many small things for it to be a coincidence, right?
After standing there like a fool until he couldn't see her, Indigo decides to move on, not thinking much of it. Slowly walking to the shop, Indigo opens the door, and his nose is attacked by the familiar smell of dusty glass and old wood.
"Ah, hello Indigo," a person said, recognizing Indigo, which wasn't much of a surprise, considering his hair stood out more than the other vibrant hair colors seen around. "The usual?" the man asked, walking past a shelf covered in bottles of various brightly colored liquids. "Yeah," Indigo replied.
"So, you excited about the fireworks? Supposed to be the first colored ones in history," he asked, trying to find something. "I guess... though I'm a lot more interested in some other stuff thats going on." "Yeah, honestly I don't even know what all is going on tonight. Lets just hope the fireworks don't turn out as badly as last time," he said, chuckling.
"Ah here it is," he said, grabbing a small glowing stick. "You know, your the only person around who buys this thing." "Really? I mean... yea..." Indigo said, his face dropping slightly. "Well, thanks. Gotta go!" With that, Indigo quickly pays and then runs off.
After a very long and poor attempt to escape the crowded part of the city, Indigo finally escapes. "Oh, hey!" Grei calls. "I thought you went to watch the sword fights?" "Well, I did, but then i got distracted," He said shyly. "You know how I am." "Well, you wanna go see Gol or not? ... this can wait," He says as he shoves the glowing stick into his pocket.
They approach the stage, theres surprisingly few people. Everyone migrated towards the center, as thats where the fireworks are happening, though you can see them from miles away anyway. "I thought you where supposed to be the best one here?" A girl says as the swords clash together. "Even without the main ability of my sword, I can still easily beat you given enough time."
