Do you recognize THIS actor? He was on "The Office", and his name is Rainn Wilson. On Star Trek Discovery, which can only be seen on Paramount +, an old character was re-visited. surprise I Mudd----from Mudd's Women. shock The full name was Harcourt Fenton Mudd. I'm watching episode 5 from Season 1 of Discovery. The Captain gets kidnapped by Klingons and gets thrown into the brig. When he wakes up,.....there is Rainn Wilson. The're trying to get out of the brig. The captain doesn't trust him, so when the captain finds a way out, he leaves Rainn there. Rainn screams....."you haven't heard the last of Harcourt Fenton Mudd"....shockshock I almost fell out of my chair. I said,....I remember him" happy

Hey, Ronald, did you see the new Aliens movie?? I thought it was okay; interesting how they touched on the first Alien movie. Especially how they kind of brought back "Ash", the bad synthetic from that first film (well, it was another synth from the Ash line, but still just as bad)

RonaldJosephCote

No, I haven't seen "Aliens Romulus", yet. Ash was played by an actor from the U.K. The 2nd Ash was played by Lance Henriksen,.....loved him in T.V. series...." Millenium".

wizardKM

You should check it out---it's not the best in the "Alien" franchise of films but it *is* fairly decent. (spoiler alert: they mention/show the alien who got blown out of the airlock of the Nostromo's lifepod; it survived the void of space by cocooning itself, apparently)Anyway, yes, you're correct about Ash being played by a British actor (Ian Holm, to be exact). Lance Henriksen's synthetic was actually named "Bishop". But anyway, check out ROMULUS when you get a chance...

wizardKM

I'll check out "Millenium" someday. Hey, it's good to see some oldtimers posting again, like you and badenwurtca...I haven't been on OTF in a while since the prepubescent kids took over the Forums...🙄

RonaldJosephCote

Thanks, I'll check it out. Yeah, all those kiddy threads are too much for me & baden, & elroch, etc.
