He should have been in jail for his unprovoked pub assault. It's depressing that he got off when anyone else (probably Stokes aside) would be doing time for his violence. Great player dodgy Humann

footallers get away with alot outside of the game itself dont they , often committing acts that many of us find abhorrent ,
im not gonna defend what appears to have been a 3 v1 assault even if it was provoked as alleged ,
good critical points you make though brochred , and we sjould always say to these players we place you in high regard but your behaviour must not drag this down
We're not saying he was the best of the best. We are saying he was great, not every great player was in that team. He made it in some other year though.
Anyways, the guys judging that are the same who are judging who gets ballon d'or, which is always for Messi or ronaldo, no matter who is best.
