so different people with the same old problems

after i saw 'The Diving Bell and the Butterfly', i wished everyone that i knew would see it.

Today, we're planning to watch 'Fitzcarraldo' (Werner Herzog)/later on tonight..  I will report, back, here, if its good. :)

I have a friend, Juan Arikari, who worked in this film, and he told me some funny stories:

One day he was sent to a tent to bring a box for the work. When he went in the tent, Claudia Gardinale was sitting on this box, and naked, "pretty naked", and a homosexual was styling her hair.   She looked at Juan and he pointed on that box,  -Oh- She stood up and Juan carried the box away.

Kinski's furious attacs were realy famous. Sometimes because a red plastic had to be covered, sometimes for waiting on someone, and sometimes no one knew why.

For the scenery when Fitzgeraldo went into Iquitos they were choosing ¨the most ugliest indio they could find¨ to carry a chest behind him. Now Kinski and all these gringos were using deodorant and perfume.Wualo (wualo is a frog and nickname for an ugly person) had nothing of that, and was ashamed for stinking, so he used soap (white soap!). During the filming he sweated and with the sweat the soap was running down the axilla. You can see this clear in the film.

-That's interesting a story to hear : )    The movie, 'Fitzcarrolda' ..still reverberates a little, though weeks ago, it was watched.  The realationship portrayal, of Claudia Cardinale and Kinski's characters, was good - it was even. and a equality there. .. Interesting, the tone.  Perhaps, realistic.. how society was portrayed of the 'times'  Both, with the new arrivals to the country; their reality.. and that of the somewhat perceivesd illusory superiority bias by the (europeans) worldview of the natives of your country ..  The cinematography was real good.
