I like the concept of people freely opening up, but I kind of doubt too many people with feel completely comfortable posting in a public forum thread.

I have searched how to feel better for so long, but feeling better has a mind of its own. It comes and goes. Chess is a escape from myself. Interacting with others is a escape. I do not feel sorry for myself but I feel for the people who have to deal with me all the time. Nobody would bother, if I did everything they asked of me. Its not that I can't do it, but its that I don't. "Am I just lazy?" I constantly ask. "Or am I scared of the pressure of failure once I promise myself to the task?"
Life does not wait for an answer. It leaves you behind while you ponder. Before you even know it, you are the very failure you were scared of. Not a logic in the world seems to be able to change your perspective. You know you are wrong, but you just can't help but feel this way.
