I’ll be honest - I’m not sure. She’s green all over but several types of California hummingbirds are green.

The only hummingbirds that live in my area are the ruby and rufus throated.

This is our 3rd year in a row with hummingbird families on our front patio. Even if the nest needs to be replaced because the last nest was destroyed by the weather, they always build on the exact same spot on the exact same plant.

One time, some family lost their dog (because it got hit by a train). No, it went missing, but wound up at our house, and we cared for it for like 6 to 9 months, and then it found its owners.

Also, one time, I cornered a squirrel, and it was acting rabid, showing its teeth and snarling at me, but me, being a dumb little kid, just reached out and pet it. I didn't get bit, and I'll never know why.
