FWIW, mods don't have a ban button. That got locked down to be staff-only years ago.
Part of the process of growing past the small start-up phase is getting stricter on things like security. My employer (financial software company) went through some of that kind of stuff too.
So you need to get hired as a chess.com employee if you want to see that button.
