I have something that's a big part of my life and I wanted to know if anyone else has experienced it or knows what it is . I'll show you how to try it if you find it hard to relax or you feel somewhat lost . It's helped me and maybe it can help you too .

Okay so , when your mind conceives a problem choose not to solve . That's it in a nutshell . I'll go into further detail .

Take a half hour out of your day, take a walk or listen to some music . Not too loud though as you need to be able to hear your own thoughts .

You'll naturally notice your surroundings , notice your thoughts , your emotions , any tension within your body . You can't help noticing .

Eventually your mind will conceive a problem . In response to this choose not to solve . Sooner or later you'll be presented with a solution .

Once more you'll notice your consciousness . Soon enough again the problem . Another one this time . Again choose not to solve . Again comes the solution sooner or later .

You'll find yourself becoming more and more relaxed , more and more peaceful , eventually if you do this for a few days you'll experience a state of love . Do it for years as I have you'll experience that free will is an illusion .

It's great for when you awake during the night and great for when you are going through a traumatic time or are about to .

It's a way of remaining in the now and being mindful .

Anyway if anyone knows of this ladder or understands what's happening or if anyone would like to try to experience what I do I would love to hear about it .

It came naturally to me . I just noticed how my mind worked for a long time till finally I became aware of this choice whether or not to solve .

I tried solving and not solving and found when I choose not to solve I felt calmer and that I was seeing things more clearly .

So think of a problem, then dont solve it.

Sounds a bit counter-productive,but if it works for you.

 

Here's another, think of a problem, have a glass of wine, have another..problem fading   :)

No you don't think of a problem . Look try it . Just watch your mind a little while . You'll notice your mind creates the problem . All you need to do is choose not to solve . Have a go for half an hour and tell me you don't feel better .

But that's what happens . When you let go of the solving you stop doing and start being . Just being you in the present moment for worse or for better .

Being yourself in the present moment . Let it go let it go and be mindful .
