The company that owns the satellite for the M-marset data is probably gonna release the raw data for what ever help it will be. Means nothing to me but I guess mathematicians all over the world have been asking for it.
The missing plane
Somebody's making a movie about that flight. I understand "creative lisence", but I think that's pushing it. A movie before its found. I'd be interested in a movie about HOW they found it, or WHERE they found the plane. This producer/director may be inflaming the relatives on purpose.
The US Navy is now saying the "pings" were not from the plane ???? More mysteries, back to square 1.
Saposedely, the're gonna re-group till August, and start looking again in the Indian Ocean. What's that dam British submarine doing ?? Did I miss something ? Did they pull out ?
Now I'm back to thinking the plane was landed in terrorist hands. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if this plane shows up in New York air space in 2021 attempting to fly into the new WTC building...
It wouldn't surprise me either if it showed back up here somewhere, loaded with explosives. I think the only groups that can pull off these kind of operations are Intelligence agencies.
2021 eh?
and start looking again in the Indian Ocean.
Maybe they'll find Earhart's plane yet.
I read an article in The Australian press that claims a woman sailor saw a burning 777 near Thailand somewhere around the 7th or 8th of March. They landed on the weekends and I don't remember where she didn't report it at the time she sold the use of burning or glowing playing because she said she saw two other planes in the area and assume that they saw it and would have reported it. One reason she also said she didn't report at the time is she is having marital problems and thought she was losing her mind. The couple of minutes see for 13 months sailing apparently around the world. Personally I think this is uh another red herring.
There was a story on CNN today about microphones on the ocean floor to monitor for earthquakes, which is fine. But the're trying to find the sound of a plane crashing in the water. I have no idea what that would possibly sound like. I know the sound of cars hitting other cars.
I saw that CNN article. The scientists who analyzed the data said it just as likely to be from a natural source. But they aren't sure. I will say this I now have a greater appreciation for how difficult underwater acoustics can be.
Some independant people from around the world have crunched the numbers of the raw N-Marset data. Their computer models put the plane about 100 miles south-west of the location of the last pings. If it takes 3 yrs, I'll keep updating this thread.
Today I did my first search for flight 370 while on break at work. I saw the headline for this story. I mentioned this to a coworker and he said I'm reading the story now. Now my first understanding is that these analysts believe 370 went down shortly after the last satellite contact. Furthermore they think they know where it is within 50 miles.
My understanding, and I could be wrong is, when they crunched the raw data, they got a slightly different "trajectory" from the last handshake. I don't think they did any actual searching. They just compared results, notes, numbers, maps, computer models, etc. Wait; oh, you mean that's the 1st time YOU looked for a story update. Well yeah, there's soooo much crap going on in the world. Here's one for another thread. The U.S. Copyright office denied protection for the Washington Redskins logo. The're claiming its offensive and you can't copyright anything offensive. Massachusetts passed a law making it a crime to feed seagulls. $100 fine. The're shitting in the water supply.

Were making progress. We didn't find the plane, but professional ship hunters thnk they have found Christopher Columbus's ship, The Santa Maria off the coast of Haiti. I think they've been looking for it for 20 yrs.
