Most annoying sounds:
1. Hearing someone singing a good song completely off tune.
2. The microwave going off ten million four hundred thousand six hundred and fifty one times to tell you that it's done microwaving.
3. The fire alarm going off when the smallest amount of smoke gets near it. It honestly is enough to make someone jump six inches off the ground.
4. Hearing the ocean after mowing the lawn for an hour
5. Listening to the sound of children...screaming.

Hello chess.com. I am wanting to ask this random question. What is the most ANNOYING sound you've EVER heard? For me, it would have to be this. In my house, my parents love to drink tea. Before, we had an electric one that did not scream loudly in your ear. Now though :P. They bought a real tea kettle.
Every 2 hours or so, they go, put water into it, and it screams so loudly that it sends shivers up my spine. I'm telling you it sounds like a BANSHEE'S WAIL!!!!!!
