November is just like December but without Christmas. Why it even exists is a mystery to me.

Hmm, lets just start with 30 days in November and 31 in December and go from there. Big differences between the two. Another - darkest day of the year in December around the 20th. Some say shortest day, but every day has the same 24 hours. Now, of course, in the Southern hemisphere it is the day with most daylight.
We could go on (New Year's Eve), but I think the point has been made. November is absolutely nothing like December, the last month of the year (another difference).
