so you purposefully attempt to hurt the feelings of others so that you can understand them better. the foundation of morality has two pillars these are empathy and fairness. you are saying things with a disregard for how it will make the person feel and it is unfair to them because in many cases it was undeserved. you draw your own conclusions

How does one attempt at hurting the feelings of others? What does it matter and why should they care makes my question even more interesting.

Putting one on a friend's list will allow the new "friend" to:
Override all of the privacy settings put into place.
This means that the new "friend" can then send PM's, post notes, and solicit club and group invites.
