Thank you, red-lady! That was really neat! My family and I went to see Nadia Serano Sonnenberg in concert when I was probably 13 years old. It was amazing to me. I love violinistsSmile

You're welcome Trysts. I've seen Isaac Stern and Itzhak Perlman in concert. They both were breathtaking. I've recently studied that Chaconne, that is why I mentioned it. When you listen to it a few times it becomes pure madness.

Wow, I would have loved to have seen those two violinists in concert! Thank you again for the HeifetzSmile

Did you know they named their band after their drug dealer's cat? (Slightly altered spelling.)

True story!

Not only organ, he did have a thing for G Strings.....

I do love that piece. I'm just Bach-ignorant.

Cool. And organ's not that bad, this is almost ROCK!

This is a master piece. but you should have posted a version with actual organ in it :P.

Since we are talking classical music anyway, I'm quite fond of some of the stuff that is well known. Mostly into piano (solo) and or strings.

Favourite composers:
Tchaikovsky
Liszt
Chopin
a little of the Ludwig Van

Bach

Mozart

Mendelssohn

From those composers I know specific pieces played by specific musicians that I like. But I have a distinct taste. There's a whole lot of stuff that I don't like.

Have been listening to Carlo Gesualdo as an experiment lately. I got mixed results. Calming but also very depressing. This one is absolutely beautiful imo though

Don't confuse us by changing names so quickly. I was just getting used to cauliflowery.

Well, Jimmy Page probably liked it, 'cause he recorded an album with Coverdale.

I would have to go with R.E.M. as the best band...
