sounds good, but Denmark is a small country, do you know if it would work in a superpower like America?

I don't know - the population is just 5.6 million in Denmark. It might be  a country to watch, over the next few years.

How is it in Canada economically? You guys have about 35 million people - but a massive country.

I just moved to the states actually. the cost of living is very high compared to the states, because the government sets a minimum price on dairy products ect. something about 'making sure the farmers get paid' I don't know, there are no limits on American farmers and they mostly get along pretty well. gas price is very high. in Indiana we can get almost three gallons of milk at the cost of one in Canada. :( health care is horrible. it's free like Obama Care, it just takes 5 hours in the waiting room to get a nail out of your foot. that kind of health care is horrible.

I lived in the States for about 12 years. Have been to Buffalo area through to Torronto & a beautiful place called a 1,000 islands. I cannot recall if that was upstate NY or in Canada. Will check now.

No, but spouting cliche untruths, having your "facts" all wrong, and using terms like "the system" which don't even mean anything, DOES make you a simpleton, IMHO. But you simpletons shouldn't feel bad; you are in the majority, at least in this overfed, undereducated, spoiled rotten country full of whiners

all revolutionars had head cut, from Danton to Robespierre, beginning of the end of first France revolution. Napoleon, famous for Code Napoleon world wide known, was creating the biggest mass murders (Eylau 1806, etc ...) because war was part of revolution, main tool.

i know only a model of revolution, portugal 1974, less than 3 victims !

Actually we have a french proverb :"no omelett without broken eggs".  Almost all Revolutions include mass murder, which is not good or bad, just seem totally included in concept. The point is where to stop Terror ?

A post capitalism could exist without victims ? why not ? In case of supra national system UNO like , having effective power to decide measures in facing challenges: finance climate demography etc ...It seems clear than States only, or , worse, blocks like Eu, Russia, India, etc ... create more risks for mankind happiness. Post capitalism, for me, includes supranationality, old dream, and not sure we're closer to it nowadays.

nb  what is good for paradise as Denmark is not obvious to translate into 60 millions + pop. countries, it is like micro- vs macro - aeconomics : what is good for me , micro-, is not compelled to be good, and / or extended to the whole country. In some days they said "what is good for General Motors is good for America". Well, in 2008 , fortunately, that was wrong, bankruptcy in one case, GMC, survival of a country (USA). supranationality : may be good for mankind, i hope, not necessarily for SwitzerlandLaughing.

I wrote on the OP about insulting people. And I warned you on a previous post. So now you are blocked old buddy. And the truth is relative - it is how you see things or what information you happen to have.

Brings some facts, bring some stats, bring something of substance.

But do not bring your BS here - it will not be tolerated.

Let's hear about de Gaulle please Basher when you have time.

Frenchbasher, how can anything good come of terror and murder? very few if any times has it paid off. the proverb is accurate. but it does not apply well to the French revolution. a better application would be the American revolution, there was a war, and people died, but no terror or mass murder. even the Tories where allowed the same rights even if they disagreed! (mostly, there where exceptions)

ty for POST ONE Henry George, for me unknown, seemed to have  found transition from capitalism to socialism real, in theory, including critic of Marxism, Malthus etc ....Weird he is so unknown in France, i did some studies in business school, we all knew Ricardo, Stuart Mill, etc ... not George ! May be because he was right !! Post capitalism seems soon or late a condition for mankind, all rich and poor, to survive, and George works are useful major tools, it seems according to wiki.  I will learn on that. Ty OP!!
